What is the Right of Withdrawal? How to Use It?

According to Article 9 of the Regulation on Distance Contracts ("Regulation"), prepared based on Articles 48 and 84 of the Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection dated 7/11/2013:

The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason and without paying any penalty.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal*

However, Article 15 of the same Regulation specifies exceptional circumstances in which the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. Within the framework of these exceptional circumstances, the Buyer, with regard to the Product subject to the Contract, has the right to withdraw from the contract as defined in Article 15 of the Regulation on Distance Contracts.

How Do I Return Products for Which the Right of Withdrawal Can Be Exercised?

1. Follow these steps: "My Account" > "My Orders" > "Order Details".

2. Click the "Generate Return Shipping Code" button.

3. Select the product to be returned and the reason for the return. If you purchased more than one of the same product, you must also select the number of products to be returned.

4. Choose one of the suggested return methods depending on the suitability of the products you wish to return.

5. If multiple shipping options appear, make your shipping selection.

6. Note the return shipping code displayed on the screen. You can also access your return shipping code from the "My Orders" page.

7. Place products with the same return code in the same package along with their invoices and ensure the package is secure.

8. Products with different return codes should be placed in separate packages even if shipped together.

9. Depending on your chosen return method, deliver your package to your chosen pickup point or shipping branch within 7 days, or hand it over to the delivery person who will come to your address on the scheduled day.

10. If you exceed 7 days, you will need to obtain a new return shipping code.

Return Conditions:

1- The product must be undamaged and unused.

2- The product must be returned with all accessories and its original box.

3- Returns are accepted for the following product groups only if the packaging is unopened, untried, undamaged, and unused:

• Products unsuitable for health and hygiene reasons (Cosmetics and personal care products, perfumes, epilators, razors, headphones, underwear, swimwear, bikinis, etc.)

• Copyable software and programs (DVDs, VCDs, CDs, cassettes, etc.)

• Books and stationery consumables (toner, cartridges, ribbons, etc.)

4- Returns of single-use products and products that spoil quickly or are likely to expire are not accepted.

* Since the SRMDA product falls under the scope of Article 15/i of the Regulation, which concerns "Contracts relating to services performed instantly in electronic form and intangible goods delivered instantly to the Buyer," the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in this respect. A return code will also not be available through the Platform for these orders. It will not be possible to create it.
