Trendyol collects your personal data, including your identity information (name, surname), your contact information (telephone number, email address, address), audio and video recordings (telephone call recordings), customer transaction information (order and delivery numbers, suggestions, and complaint information), as well as any other information you share during conversations, through our communication channels, particularly the call center and live chat. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the legal grounds set forth in Article 5, Paragraph 2 of the Personal Data Protection Act, namely, "the necessity of processing data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not infringe upon the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject" and "the necessity of processing data to establish, exercise, or protect a right." This processing is limited to the purposes of communication activities, following up on requests and complaints, conducting research and investigations necessary to provide support services related to the subject of the request, providing you with information and support services, managing customer and supplier relationships, receiving and evaluating suggestions for improving business processes, carrying out activities aimed at achieving customer and supplier satisfaction, and using it as evidence in future disputes.

Your personal data is shared with our business partners, suppliers, service providers, group companies, and, upon request, with authorized institutions, organizations, or judicial authorities, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and solely for the purposes mentioned above, and to fulfill our legal obligations. We would also like to emphasize that live chat conversations are processed anonymously and are not evaluated on an individual basis. This is done to improve and develop our requests and complaints procedures, provide language support, and may be shared with suppliers who support our artificial intelligence processes. You have the right to request information about the processing of your personal data.

To find out the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether it is being used appropriately for that purpose.

To know which third parties, both domestically and internationally, your personal data is being transferred to.

You have the right to request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately.

You have the right to request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set forth in the Personal Data Protection Act (KVKK).

When you request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, or the deletion or destruction of your personal data, you can request that the third parties to whom we have transferred your personal data be notified.

You have the right to claim compensation for damages you have suffered as a result of the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Communicating about your rights and claims

You can submit your requests and inquiries regarding your personal data to our company in accordance with the "Notice on Procedures and Principles for Submitting Requests to the Data Controller," by sending an email from your registered email address to kvkk@srmda.com or by using the methods mentioned under "Method of Submission" in the data subject request form. Our company will process your request free of charge within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days. However, if responding to your request requires a fee in accordance with legislation, our company may charge a fee according to the tariff established by the Personal Data Protection Board.
